Egypt was something else. So full of culture it's completely opposite of Dubai. Dubai is fun and all, but it is all superficial, or as my mom likes to call it, 'the adult Disneyland'. Egypt, was all rich culture and history. Seeing the pyramids at Cairo was crazy. I just tried to imagine all the slaves moving the huge pieces of stones, which look much bigger in person than in pictures, and building them up to make amazing pyramids. The struggle and effort it took blows my mind, especially when they didn't have all the new technology we have today. Definitely a site to see, and I definitely want to go back in the near future to visit Luxor and Sharm el Sheikh.
If you're wondering who the girl and baby - or santa clause - in my pictures are, it is my good friend Sue. We met in America but she went back to Egypt and we were so thrilled to be able to see her and experience Egypt with her. It was me and Lily (her daughters) first time to the pyramids together! :)
